Outdoor Summer Sunset Editorial Fashion Photoshoot

Recently I’ve been spending time pushing my boundaries when it comes to subjects, concepts, posing, and even editing. This shoot with my good friend Emmy has definitely inspired me to keep pushing towards more interesting and compelling imagery.

This evening started with us trying to find the craziest and most colorful clothing we could. We kept pulling things off the racks at Goodwill and jumping with excitement when something really good came to us. Color was definitely super important for this shoot as it was more fashion oriented. I knew I wanted layers, texture, and plenty of pieces to add on or take off throughout the shoot. My favorite pieces were the pearl necklace, lace shirt, and the yellow loafers.

As the night went on, my flash came out and Emmy was up for jumping into the river to get some really fun photos. These definitely ended up being my favorite. When the night came to an end we celebrating a joyful evening and exciting images!
